Associate Financial Analyst
Kara Shillington is an Associate Financial Analyst at HPG. She joined full-time in 2020 and is currently working towards industry licenses while learning from and being mentored by Jeff and Kevin. With a passion to continually learn and help others, Kara brings her enthusiasm and a personal touch to every project she works on.
What Kara likes most about her job is the opportunity to learn new things and make connections with the knowledge she has acquired. She also loves being a part of a team that feels more like a family unit than just another workplace.
Kara is thrilled to be following the footsteps of her dad, Jeff, who has always been a great role model and supportive figure in her life. Jeff’s encouragement to pursue her passions has led Kara to the fulfilling position she holds today.
When Kara isn't working, she enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, golfing, boating, and traveling. She particularly loves exploring new destinations, experiencing different cultures, and most of all, sea glass hunting at the cottage. Kara is also a proud dog mom to her furry friend Winnie, who keeps her active and entertained.
